Daffodil

Register for Daffodil Day 2008.

Today, one in three Tasmanians are directly affected by cancer in their lifetime. Daffodil Day is a time to support family and friends with cancer and remember those lost to the disease. It is also time to celebrate advances in cancer detection and treatment.

The Cancer Council Tasmania needs your support on Daffodil Day to raise money to fund vital cancer services.

Easy ways you can help

  • Order a display box of Daffodil Day merchandise (includes silk ribbons, enamel badges and pens) to sell from 1 – 24 August. You don’t have to pay for the merchandise up front, you simply bank the funds raised using the deposit slip provided and we collect any unsold merchandise from you at the conclusion of the appeal.
  • Schools can register to participate in our Yellow Day program for any time during August.
  • Volunteers are always needed to help with Daffodil Day. As well as assisting on a Daffodil Day merchandise stall we have a variety of opportunities for volunteers to be involved in pre and post Daffodil Day organisation.
  • If you want to support The Cancer Council Tasmania but are unable to sell merchandise or volunteer time, you can purchase Daffodil Day merchandise from retail outlets or our merchandise stalls on Daffodil Day.

For Daffodil Day merchandise or volunteering please call 1300 65 65 85 or email Buy merchandise online.
