Daredallion Week : March 2nd to 6th

Daredallion Week: March 2nd to 6th

If you've ever wanted to wear your old gorilla suit to work, challenge the IT guys to a dance-off in the boardroom, or just need an excuse to play silly buggers at work, here's your chance.

We're asking blokes to dare themselves, friends or colleagues to perform a silly stunt and raise money for Cancer Council.

Registrations will open February 2nd.

Do something good for men's cancers this March. We dare you.

Daredallion Week for mens' cancersWHAT IS IT?

  • The brand new men's fundraiser from Cancer Council Australia
  • It's fun, easy to do and is all about having a good laugh, whilst raising money for an important cause.

But most importantly, this one's just for the blokes!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1: Dare yourself, friends or colleagues to perform a silly dare

Step 2: Register your dare on the Daredallion website and ask Your friends, colleagues and contacts to sponsor you

Step 3: Return funds raised to Cancer Council Australia

TOO EASY!

WHAT KINDS OF DARES CAN I DO?

As a general rule, the sillier the dare, the better (excepting of course dares involving alcohol, nudity, smoking, dangerous stunts...you get the idea!).
Daredallion Superman

Why not:

  • Serenade a workmate
  • Wear a silly outfit to work (e.g. Borat bikini over your suit)
  • Dare someone to stand up on the train and loudly announce the name of each stop as the train pulls up
  • Dare your boss to be receptionist for an hour
  • Dare someone to sign ALL their emails 'With love...' all day
  • Sing the national anthem at the start of every meeting
  • Talk in a funny accent
  • Perform a boy band dance routine
  • Talk with an animal puppet (even in meetings)
  • Confessions on all staff email (nothing too personal!)

DAREDALLION ONLINE

Daredallion Week is a fully integrated digital campaign: everything's online from the registration process to the fundraising mechanisms, so it couldn't be easier for blokes to get involved.

We're suggesting to darers and Daredallion men that they ask someone to film the dares, which can then be showcased on the Daredallion website or on the Daredallion Youtube Channel, Facebook, etc.

WHY ARE WE DOING IT? Daredallion Fairy

  • Cancer remains one of the biggest killers of Australian men, affecting 1 in 2 Aussie blokes in their lifetime
  • Awareness of men's cancers is very low, and we want to help change that
  • We need more funding to find new and better treatments, and one day a cure

GO ON...WE DARE YOU!
