How to DonateWe need your help to continue the fight against cancer. When you donate to The Cancer Council Tasmania you make a real contribution to minimising the impact of cancer on all Tasmanians. The Council depends on public donations to fund vital cancer research and its other programs of support, information and health promotion. Since its establishment in 1995 the Council has:
Ways to GiveMake a DonationThe Council offers an online donation facility for credit card donors using our SSL Secure Server. Alternatively, donations can be made by completing the following form and mailing or faxing it to The Cancer Council Tasmania. Donations can also be made by telephone or in person at any Cancer Support Centre. Addresses for the Cancer Support Centres can be found on the contact page. A Memorial DonationCommemorate someone’s life by asking family and friends to make a memorial donation instead of sending flowers to a funeral. We will inform the next of kin or family know of your donation (although not the amount). You can send your donation by our SSL Secure Server, post or over the phone with a credit card. Call 1300 65 65 85 for further information about our Memorial Gifts program. Gift PlanningGift Planning is charitable giving generally carried out as part of a person’s financial and estate planning; it makes it possible to set aside a portion of the assets for The Cancer Council Tasmania. A Memorial donation in lieu of flowers, made in memory of a loved one, is a popular way for family and friends to remember and commemorate the life of their loved one. Secure online donationsUsing the Cancer Council’s secure credit card payment facility offers a safe and easy method to donate using your Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, Diners Club or American Express card.
