The Cancer Council Tasmania has more than 400 volunteers across the state but new faces are always welcome.
Making a difference in the fight against cancer might not take as much time as you think. The time commitment can be as great or as little as your schedule permits.

Support and Information Services
- become a trained Cancer Connect volunteer and offer help, hope and improved quality of life to people living with cancer
- train as a facilitator for a peer support group in your community
- volunteer your services at your local Cancer Support Centre
- become a health promotion volunteer
Fundraising Help raise funds for cancer research and important Cancer Council programs
- deliver or sell Daffodil Day or Pink Ribbon Day merchandise
- help organise business campaigns
- clerical assistance or computer data entry
- organise or help with special events
Health promotion Become an outreach volunteer and help promote prevention and early detection of cancer in your community.
Volunteer drivers Become a part-time volunteer driver and join the transport 2 treatment team who provide a safe and reliable transport service for cancer patients travelling to treatment from around Tasmania in Cancer Council and private vehicles. Application form
