Join and have your say
Each region of the state has three representatives on the
Board of Directors who are elected
by the voting members. The Board also includes a representative
of the Tasmanian Department of Health and
Human Services by invitation and up to three members are appointed
by the Board.
Each elected member serves a three-year term with a member
from each region retiring each year at the Annual General
Meeting in August/September. Board members may not serve for
more than six consecutive years.
This means one third of the board of The Cancer Council
Tasmania is elected every year by the
voting membership.
If you would like to have a vote and a voice in setting The
Cancer Council Tasmania’s
direction at Board level,
