Northern Cancer Support Programs
Living Well After Cancer
The Living Well After Cancer program is run on an as needs basis. It is a free half-day session focusing on the importance of healthy eating, exercise and emotional well-being, with strategies to manage your future health from experts in the field, and hear how Cancer Council Tasmania can support you. The sessions are for people who have finished their initial cancer treatment and their partners/carers.

Basic Cooking for Men
Basic Cooking for Men is a new small group program being offered in Launceston to any man impacted by cancer – whether they have the diagnosis, or their partner does – and they want to be able to cook meals from scratch.
The concept is that in a small group (four to six people), over four sessions, the attendees will be shown how to cook healthy inexpensive meals perfect for batch cooking and therefore freezing.
Groups will run according to demand. To register or to find out more please contact Megan on 6779 1111 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
