Aboriginal Quitline Counsellor & Liaison Officer

Hobart (part-time 0.6 – 0.8 FTE negotiable, fixed term to June 2022)

Quit Tasmania is seeking the services of an Aboriginal Quitline Counsellor & Liaison Officer.

We are looking for individuals who can work in partnership with Aboriginal organisations and communities to address the high smoking rates amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Tasmania. This role also involves the provision of specialist telephone tobacco smoking cessation advice and counselling to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in Tasmania, through both inbound and outbound telephone support.

Campaigns Coordinator

NW Cancer Prevention Project Officer

Launceston or Devonport (part-time 0.8 FTE , fixed term to 25 Feb 2022)

CCT is currently seeking the services of a Cancer Prevention Project Officer (CPPO) to join its dedicated Cancer Prevention Team. The CPPO is responsible for the delivery of cancer prevention messaging in a broad range of community and corporate settings, guided by CCT cancer prevention strategic goals and objectives. The NW Project Officer will also be responsible for developing collaborative partnerships in the region with key stakeholders to enhance cancer prevention delivery.

Fundraising & Events Coordinator – North

Launceston (part-time 0.6 FTE)

CCT is looking for a Fundraising & Events Coordinator with an excellent track record in achieving fundraising outcomes.  This role will be responsible for organising the Sparkle for Hope Ball and Unite-In-Yellow Breakfast.  The Fundraising & Events Coordinator will lend a hand to the rest of the team in organising Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Daffodil Day and any other state-based community events.
